AK-Cent Microsystems to sell its own brand of computer memory modules

AK-Cent Microsystems, specializing in RAM and other components distribution, has announced that it is starting to manufacture memory modules to be sold under the brand AK-Cent Memory. The product will be made at four production lines at a Taiwanese factory to the Russian company's specifications and from components supplied by Korean, Japanese and US vendors. According to AK-Cent Microsystems, AK-Cent Memory will be 40 percent cheaper than its analogs produced by Compaq, Hewlett-Packard and IBM, and 10 percent cheaper than Transend and Kingston modules.
