Goscomstat to get $30 million loan

The Russian government has approved an agreement with the World Bank for Reconstruction and Development for the financing of the development of the state statistics system STATSYS. Under the terms of the agreement, the bank will provide a $30 million loan for the project, which will be overseen by the State Statistics Committee, the Ministry of Finance and the Ministry of Economics. Most of the loan will be spent on equipment and software.
