MTD takes delivery of Kraftway computers worth $17 million
Kraftway has completed a project to deliver computer equipment to the main
office of the Ministry of Taxes and Duties and 103 of its regional
departments. The contract was signed in December last year and called for
the delivery pf 33 eight-processor servers GEG Express 800 X470C bundled
with the UPS APC Smart-UPS 2200RM, 230 quad-processor servers GEG Express
400 X270P bundled with APC Smart-UPS 2200 NET, 115 double-processor servers
GEG Express 200 Q273T bundled with APC Smart-UPS 1400 NET, as well as 9,186
workstations GEG Popular C160M. All computers were supplied with Microsoft
system software installed. As part of the agreement, Kraftway also provided
installation services for some of the customer's regional branches. The
contract is valued at about $17 million.
